Justice League Program
Arizonans for Children hosts a free monthly legal education program for foster youths ages 12 to 18. This program teaches youths about their rights and responsibilities under law in the State of Arizona. Justice League was made possible by grants from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
Over 100 youths meet with a Juvenile Court Judge, a speaker from the Young Adult Program and motivational speakers who will encourage the attendees to make smart choices regarding their future. Speakers have included former foster youths who have successfully aged out of foster care who want to share their hopeful experiences with others on a similar path.
This dynamic and popular program is theme based and exists purely to assist youths through the aging out process. Our aim is to help this fragile age group to make the most out of the time they spend in care and prepare early to break the cycle of abuse, neglect and abandonment.
