As youth prepare to age out of foster care, having the right support can make a tremendous difference in their transition to adulthood. Keys to Success is Arizona’s only workforce development program created specifically for youth ages 16–26 with foster care experience, helping them build the skills, confidence, and connections needed for long-term success.

Participants receive individualized support in areas such as career exploration, employment readiness, education, financial literacy, housing, and goal setting. Whether they’re looking for their first job, exploring career options, preparing for college or vocational training, or simply learning how to navigate adulthood, Keys to Success provides guidance every step of the way.

The program also offers opportunities to build résumés through volunteer experiences, participate in career-focused training, and connect with employers who understand and value the strengths of young adults with foster care experience.

If your mentee is 16 or older and beginning to think about life after foster care, this program is an excellent resource to explore. Anyone can submit a referral to help a young person get started.
